The role: 

The Communications Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring all City Beach team members are informed, engaged, and aware of business information or change that is important to their role. Through building close working relationships with the Senior Leadership and broader business teams, you will establish a communication framework that ensures we are able to meet the needs of our teams across all our divisions.

What you will be doing:

• Contribute to the establishment of our internal communications strategy in partnership with the Operations team and Leadership team. 

• Support the Operations team and other key stakeholders with the delivery of internal business communications.

• The coordination, organisation and delivery of internal company events in collaboration with key stakeholders. 

• Manage the internal Instagram account.

• Receive communications requests and collaborate with owners and stakeholders to produce the best communications plan for each piece of communication.

• Plan, edit and write content with a view to increase engagement, leveraging our internal platforms and mediums such as ThinkTime, SharePoint, Instagram and e-mail.

• Draft messages or scripts from the leadership team for distribution to team members in written or spoken form where relevant.

What you'll need: 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. 

• Strong organisational and administrative skills.

• Detail oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.  

• Proficient with technology and the ability to work and learn in new platforms.  

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.  

• Experience working within the Retail sector desirable.  

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism or Communications desirable but not essential.
