Position

The Buying Operations Coordinator is a key role in ensuring the Womens Buying team runs smoothly. This position is a unique blend of operational administration and creative support, playing a critical part in both the execution and presentation of our product.

Working closely with the Buying Operations Manager, Company Director, Buying team, and key stakeholders, this role supports reporting, content creation, and day-to-day team operations. It requires someone confident working both autonomously and collaboratively, with the ability to step in and keep things moving when needed.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a high-volume environment, enjoys both the analytical and creative sides of fashion retail, and is looking to build depth in operations rather than pursue a traditional Buying pathway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage regular reporting to support the Buying team.

  • Assist in the creation of product content, including outfit building, styling, and imagery selection.

  • Support the day-to-day operational functions of the Womens Buying team.

  • Work closely with the Buying team, Director, and internal and external stakeholders to deliver key outcomes.

  • Coordinate and manage tasks across multiple departments, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Provide operational support and confidently step in to cover responsibilities when required.

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across a high volume of stakeholders.

  • Contribute to process improvements and support team efficiency initiatives.

Strong understanding of the retail cycle and a genuine interest in fashion and trends.

An eye for styling and content creation, with the ability to contribute creatively to outfit building and product presentation.

Demonstrated ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively both up and down.

Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Resilient and confident, with the ability to handle a high volume of daily interactions.

Strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in reporting and documentation.

Experience using AI tools or an interest in leveraging AI to improve efficiency and workflows is highly regarded.
