The role:
The Regional Visual Merchandiser will support 11 City Beach stores in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and regional areas to uphold their visual merchandising standards and create an appealing and shoppable environment for our customers. You will maintain and drive these standards through ongoing development and training of City Beach team members to ensure that the company visual merchandising strategy is executed across all retail stores.
What you'll be doing:
- Advise and support retail stores on visual merchandising (windows, layout, fixture placement, product display) to ensure consistency with company guidelines across all locations.
- Train in-store staff to implement and maintain visual standards and promotional setups.
- Organize and assist in setting up promotional events and installations within timelines and standards.
- Ensure visual merchandising compliance across stores to maintain high presentation standards and a customer-friendly environment.
- Lead and support store teams with feedback and training to meet visual merchandising expectations and ensure consistent techniques and policies.
- Contribute to improving visual merchandising and promotional activities by identifying opportunities and executing strategies for greater efficiency.
- Build relationships with Regional and Area Managers through regular store visits and feedback.
- Oversee compliance with visual merchandising tasks and report performance to store leadership, Regional, and Area Managers.
- Provide insights and reports on the store teams’ success in meeting visual merchandising objectives.
- Advocate for retail projects, collaborating with the visual merchandising team to ensure understanding and alignment with store goals.
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in a visual merchandiser or similar role; experience in a fast-paced and high-volume retail environment will be highly regarded
- Qualifications in visual/fashion merchandising or similar relevant field highly regarded
- Working knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising trends and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve and manage time effectively
- Driver’s licence essential
- Able to travel interstate when required
